One film per roll

You choose a film when you load a roll, the way a camera takes one canister at a time, and every shot on that roll gets its look. Each film comes with its own roll artwork, so your library looks like a drawer of canisters.

Changed your mind about one photo? With Keep originals on, you can change the film of a single print later without touching the rest of the roll.

The Load a roll screen: a Warm 35 canister, a row of films, 12, 24 or 36 shots, a name for the roll and a date stamp switch.

Frames that count

Rolls come in 12, 24 or 36 shots with DisCam Pro, and the free rolls have 5. The counter on the camera shows how many you've taken, and the roll screen shows its prints in order.

You can keep more than one roll going and switch between them from the camera, so the holiday roll and the everyday roll don't get mixed up.

Watch every print develop

A print starts as blank paper and the colour comes up slowly. In Instant mode it happens as soon as you shoot; in Disposable mode the whole roll develops together when you decide.

Rolls, stacks and collages

Finished prints collect into stacks, like Summer in Italy. Add photos to a stack any time, combine stacks, and share up to 12 prints from a stack as one collage.

Private, like a camera should be

There's no account and no cloud. Every photo is developed and stored on your phone, and only reaches your library or other apps when you save or share it, or turn on automatic saving.

Questions

Is DisCam a real film camera?: No. It takes digital photos with your phone's camera and develops them with film recipes, so you get the look and the rhythm of film without buying or processing any.
How many shots are on a roll?: 12, 24 or 36 with DisCam Pro. The two free rolls have 5 shots each.
Does it have black and white film?: Yes, two: Noir, with deep blacks and bright whites, and Mono 400, a textured, grainy black and white.
Do I need an internet connection?: No. DisCam works offline, on a plane, at the beach, anywhere. It only goes online to check or buy DisCam Pro.
