Free online film filter.
Give any photo the look of film: ten film looks from the DisCam app, grain, a light leak, a glowing date stamp and an instant-print frame. Free, with no sign-up, and your photo is never uploaded.
The film filter

Developed in your browser. Your photo is never uploaded.
WARM 35 · the default
Golden hour, all day.
Three steps, no sign-up.
Open a photo
Any JPEG, PNG or WebP from your phone or computer. On a computer you can also drop it on the print or paste it.
Choose the film, frame and date
Ten film looks with their own intensity and grain, an optional light leak, a white, cream or black frame, and a date stamp in the app's digits.
Save your print
A JPEG up to 2048 pixels on the photo's long side, with no watermark. On a phone, the share sheet opens so you can save it to your photos.
Your photo never leaves your device.
The film looks are code that runs in this page, so your own browser develops the photo. It isn't uploaded to DisCam or anywhere else, nothing is kept after you leave, and the photo is gone when you close the page.
The date for the stamp is read from the details saved in your photo, on your device as well. The privacy policy covers the filter too.

Questions
- Is the online film filter free?
- Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many photos you make.
- Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
- No. Your browser develops the photo on your device. It isn't sent to DisCam or anyone else, and it's gone when you close the page.
- What size is the saved photo?
- The photo is up to 2048 pixels on its long side, the size of the DisCam app's high-quality saves, with the frame around it. Smaller photos keep their own size, so nothing is enlarged.
- Where does the date come from?
- From your photo, if it says. Most phone and camera photos record when they were taken, and the filter stamps that date. If yours doesn't, it uses today's date. You can change the date, add the time or turn the stamp off.
- Which photos can I open?
- JPEG, PNG and WebP photos work in every modern browser. If your browser can't open a photo, such as an iPhone HEIC photo on some computers, save it as a JPEG and open that.
- Is it the same as the DisCam app?
- It uses the app's ten film looks, frames and date stamp. The app is a camera: you shoot rolls with a set number of shots, each print develops as you watch, and your photos stay on your phone.
