Half the fun of instant film was the wait. DisCam keeps it: the colour comes up slowly, the way it used to, so the photo you get feels like one you waited for.

Phones without a Dynamic Island get a drawn one in the same place, so the print still has somewhere to come out of.

Frames like instant film

Every print gets an instant-print frame in white, cream or black. When you save or share, keep the full frame, crop it to an even border, or share the photo alone, with or without the date.

Shoot in Portrait (3:4), Square (1:1) or Landscape (4:3).

Write on the print

Full-frame prints have a wide bottom margin, and you can write in it: up to two lines, in five fonts, any colour. Drag the note where you want it.
