The small print
Delete your photos and data
DisCam doesn’t have accounts, so there’s no account to delete. Everything DisCam stores (your photos, prints, rolls, stacks and settings) lives only on your phone. We keep no copy on any server, so deleting it is entirely in your hands.
Delete a photo
- Open the photo in your library.
- Tap the options button in the top-right corner and choose Delete photo.
- Confirm. The photo is removed from every roll and stack.
Delete a roll
- In your library, switch to Rolls and open the roll.
- Tap the options button and choose Delete roll.
- Confirm. Photos from the roll that aren’t in any stack are deleted too. Photos you added to stacks stay there.
The roll loaded in the camera can’t be deleted until you finish it or load a new roll.
Delete a stack
- In your library, open the stack from Stacks.
- Tap the options button and choose Delete stack.
- Confirm. Photos that are only in that stack are deleted too. Photos that belong to a roll stay in it.
Erase everything
- In your library, tap the settings button (the gear).
- Tap Erase all photos, then Erase all to confirm.
This deletes every photo, roll and stack from DisCam. It can’t be undone.
Uninstalling the app
Deleting DisCam from your phone removes everything it stored there. If your phone backs up app data (for example to iCloud or Google), a copy may remain in that backup until the backup is replaced or deleted.
Photos you saved or shared
Prints you saved to your photo library, or shared with other apps, are no longer stored by DisCam. Deleting them in DisCam doesn’t remove those copies, so delete them in your Photos or gallery app, or in the app you shared them with.
